I think I’m only going to post on days that I work out from now on - which should be about 3 times a week.
I’ve been eating fairly healthily recently and rehearsals for West Side Story are keeping my cardio up twice a week. There’s this one dance that’s 12 minutes long and I’ll be damned if every single person doesn’t have pit stains by the end of it.
I did my new programme for the second time today, and actually printed off the sheet to tick off each date I do it. I want to do it at least 3 times a week for the next 5 weeks before seeing my personal trainer again.
Overall, things are looking up for me.

I ate really healthily both days - I had a load of fish/chicken, which was awesome. Probably the healthiest days I’ve had in terms of actual food, though probably not in terms of the amount of Diet Coke/Dr. Pepper consumed, but oh well, what you going to do.
Messaged my personal trainer about the fact I’m getting weights on Saturday and she suggested I finish the original six week programme before adding the weights in, which I’m happy to do and that’s the current plan.
I’ve been neglecting cardio really badly recently - the start and end of my workout has 5 minutes of skipping/running, but I haven’t had the appropriate space to do it these last few days. I think I’m gonna go for a run rather than a workout tomorrow to catch up on lost cardio.
Overall, two pretty good days, though.
How’s everyone else’s days been?
I didn’t eat amazingly well today - I was with my Dad today and yesterday and because he doesn’t see me very often he was really keen to treat me to things like jelly beans and sweets and cheesecake. When I said I didn’t really want any he looked sad and I felt awful so I ended up eating it anyway. But I mean, it’s not like I gorged on mountains of ice cream so even if I feel a bit guilty it could’ve been worse.
I did a full work out today, and it was mentioned in passing that I’d definitely be getting the weights I asked for for my birthday, which is a massive plus, so things balance out.
As of next Thursday, I’m exam and stress free, so I’ll both have more time to exercise and have less reason to comfort eat. I can’t wait.
